Welcome to City Grazing’s Goats-to-Schools Program

We are delighted that you are interested in educating youth about sustainability and the many benefits of goat grazing!

In 2023 City Grazing launched our education program.  The curriculum linked below is a fantastic resource for any educators who want to teach about sustainability issues and environmental stewardship through the lens of goat grazing. We’re also excited to offer the pairing of our in-house-developed sustainability curriculum along with goat grazing at select schools in the City and County of San Francisco. 

The Goats-to-Schools curriculum is divided into three categories of materials, directed at two groups of students: K-6th grade and 7th grade-adults.

• Short overviews. Accessible through QR codes posted at school grazing installations and here: Grades K to 6 and Grade 7+
• Expanded curriculum. Please register here for access to more. Your registration information will allow us to quantify usage and to gather feedback from educators about student usage to improve the program. Your registration information will never be sold or used outside of City Grazing.
• Supplemental materials like Q&As, games, quizzes, and fun videos, also available through the registration process.
