Contributions are tax deductible and go towards goat feed, veterinary care, facilities upkeep, and community and educational programs. There are so many ways to give! In addition to the ideas below, we would be happy to work with you or your financial advisor to facilitate donating appreciated assets or other forms of planned giving.
You can also easily recommend a grant to us from your donor–advised fund (DAF) using our EIN # 35-2566095. Most DAFs allow you to pre-schedule grants, set up recurring grants, and add City Grazing as a charitable successor.

Giving Assets
As the year wraps up, we hope you’ll think of us in your giving plans. There are many meaningful ways to support our work. A lot of people choose to donate through assets like stocks, IRA gifts, crypto, or Donor-Advised Funds, which can also offer added tax benefits in the 2025 tax year. Interested in donating stock, securities, or mutual fund shares? The value of the stock at the time of transfer will be tax-deductible and you’re not obligated to pay capital gains taxes on associated appreciation.
We are easy to find through most DAF fund advisory lists of eligible nonprofits. If yours doesn’t have us listed, or you’d like to give in anther way listed above, please have your advisor or broker reach out to us at goats@citygrazing.com, and we’ll handle things from there.
